The original ryōshi is made by pouring fibers of indigo blue into paper in the process of making paper. Those fibers of indigo blue and purple look like a piece of clouds hanging down in the sky.
Ryōshi here is expressed effectively by using a printing brush.
Coarse mica powder is scattered on the surface of paper.
